Description
Finpro GP is a general-purpose low viscosity floor priming and structural binding resin used in the repair of damaged or substandard concrete substrates. This can product can be used neat for priming and resurfacing of floors prior to overcoating, or in combination with Finpro Cast Aggregates to produce trowel on epoxy mortars and structural repairs.

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
The substrate must be sound, clean and dry to ensure optimal adhesion between floor coating and substrate. Remove surface laitance, contaminants, existing coatings and curing compounds via light grit-blasting or grinding to ensure suitable surface profile (CSP 3) has been achieved.
Prior to application the surface must be free of dust and other debris. New concrete must be cured for 28 days prior to application.
Mixing
- Using an electrical low speed (400rpm) mechanical mixer, premix Part A until homogenous.
- Add the Part B (Hardener) to Part A (Base) and mechanically mix for 2 minutes, scrape down sides of vessel so no unmixed material remains and stir for further 2 minutes.
- Gradually add Finfix Cast aggregate at a rate of 1 part Finpro GP to 1 – 3 parts filler (by volume) and mix thoroughly, ensuring to agitate all parts of the mixture.
- Scrape the sides of the vessel and continue to mix until all components are combined.
Sealer Application
Finpro GP can also be used for grouting, concrete resurfacing, concrete re-levelling, anti-slip topping and can be applied within 1 hour of mixing.
Grouting
This method is by adding Finpro Cast SL Aggregate at a mix ratio of between 1:1 to 1:3 by volume to Finpro GP. For larger voids and holes, the addition of larger aggregate may also be added.
Concrete Resurfacing
Mix 1kg of Finpro GP with 1-2 Kg of Finpro Cast SL Aggregate and apply across the surface as a ‘scratch coat’ with a flat trowel. This application is an effective way of fine filling and reinstating surface integrity prior to application of a high build epoxy coat such as Finpro EP HS.
Levelling and building up concrete surfaces
For high build-up of floor levels and creation of falls, mix 1 part of Finpro GP to 7-9 parts of coarse grit Finpro Cast Aggregate. Priming of the surface before the installation is required. Install epoxy mortar mix to the desired thickness and allow to cure. Once cured, apply a heavy top coat of Finpro GP to seal the mortar surface and apply as chemically resistant protective coating such as Finpro EP HS.
Anti-Slip Topping
Install the flowable mixture of Finpro GP and fine grade Finpro Cast Aggregate over the surface and then broadcast with additional coarse aggregate that achieves the desired surface profile. After cure, sweep and remove the excess dry aggregate prior to application of with Finpro EP HS in desired colour. Ensure to prepare existing construction and saw cut joints with a diamond blade and install a suitable jointing sealer.
